Stayed at this hotel on halloween to see the Fleetwood Mac gig in Wembley Arena which is only a 100 yards or so up the road. Some of the staff were dressed in ghoulish make up but this was the only horror to report about the hotel! Ibis is in a great location in relation to it being only a 10 minute walk to Wembley Central tube station for the Bakerloo line which we travelled on from Paddington.

The rooms were very comfortable and up to the usual Ibis standard with tea & coffee making facilities. The only fault with the room was that the air conditioning veered between cool (which we needed as the weather was very mild) and slightly too warm. This was only a minor inconvenience though as the window can be opened a few inches to allow some air into the room.

Booked the room in advance on line and for two rooms, my wife and myself in one and a friend in another the total cost was £90.00, excellent value. Continental Breakfast was good value at £5.50 and tasty and the drinks in the bar were very good value and not London prices at all.

The area near the hotel was great for eating and drinking, we found a great pub called Thirsty Eddy's in Wembley High Road, again with very reasonable drinks prices and Shameen's tandoori just accross the road from the hotel was great for a post gig curry.

Great experience at Ibis and will definitely stay there again on next visit to Wembley.

I am rating this hotel 5* for it's convenience to the Wembley venues and value for money. It is a typical budget hotel. The rooms are basic, but very clean and with all the basics that you need. The bathroom is not a room, but a large "pod" but again with everything you need, including a good shower & shower gel. I can't fault this hotel for staying at Wembley and have used it a few times. The breakfast is an additional £5.50 and is ok if you just want continental style buffet. I would however highly recommend a cooked breakfast/brunch/lunch at the nearby Cafe 2000. The staff and food there are absolutely great. To find it, come out of the hotel and go back to the main road. Look left and there ia a small parade of shops. Cafe 2000 is the last on the left. He often opens in the evenings too if there is an event on at Wembley.

Booked this hotel because we were going to the NFL game and wanted to be close to Wembley...have to say we could not have gotten any closer!! Typical budget hotel, no frills, but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Couple of down points...the heating in the hotel must have been on overtime, much too hot and if you got into the lift and it stopped at each floor, you were very sweaty by the ground! Also we booked through Expedia and their website said the parking was free and there was a safety deposit box in the room. The parking was £8 per night and there was no safe. However I would recommend this hotel aa it served its purpose well.

I booked this hotel on the 10th October because I needed somewhere to stay after a gig at London Roundhouse. It was a bit out of the way but only 1 tube away from central London so it was fine. I checked in to find that instead of the two twin beds I had booked, there was a double bed and a single bed in the room! Bonus! The staff on the reception desk were lovely and helpful when me and my friend wanted towels/a hairdryer.

Great power shower, comfy beds, great location.

Will definately stay at the Wembley Stadium Ibis again!

As the other reviewers say, it's a budget hotel next door to Wembley Stadium. Transport-wise, Wembley Stadium station is adjacent, with Wembley Park and Wembley Central stations within walking distance.

I was given a disabled room on the 6th floor (just to confirm, I'm not disabled). The bedroom was typical Ibis - absolutely fine. It was quiet, couldn't hear any noise from inside the hotel or from outside. It was clean enough and the bed was comfortable, albeit slightly small.

The bathroom however was at best terrible and at worst dangerous. As mentioned, it was a disabled room so the bathroom door was a large slide door. The runners were faulty. The door slid half-way, then got stuck. To close the door, it was grab it with one hand at the top, one hand lower down and wrestle with it. I don't mean give it a good pull, I really mean wrestle with it! Same again to open the door. There's no way a wheelchair user could have closed this.

The bathroom was a level floor (again, disabled friendly). So the shower was simply in a corner of the room where the plug-hole is, with a curtain to pull round. The shower was, by budget hotel standards, good - hot and powerful. After using the shower, the bathroom floor was flooded. The water was running away from the plug-hole, towards the opposite corner where the toilet and sink are located. It was difficult to 'sweep' the water down the plug-hole, given the floor was titling away from the plug-hole. Therefore each subsequent visit to the bathroom involved paddling through the flooded floor. This is a dangerous slip hazard. I can't imagine how a wheelchair user would have managed in this bathroom.

I mentioned this issue to reception upon checking out. They appeared mildy sympathetic, asking me if I'd reported it during my stay. I said I hadn't for two reasons: firstly it's not like they can just send up a maintenance guy and fix it in 10 minutes (they'd need to rip out the whole bathroom and the door runners and re-fit from scratch) and secondly the hotel must know about it - every time the cleaners enter this room, they must surely have to wrestle with the bathroom door too, and they must see the flooded floor and have to spend time cleaning it up.

My friend who was in a separate (non-disabled) room said his room was fine and had no problems.
