One of a small group of beloved Turkish restaurants offering the freshest of food at very reasonable prices. Both the staff and the hours are friendly - you can pop in for anything from a bistro bite to a full Turkish feast from noon to midnight. The best way about to enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine is to order lots and lots of different things to share with the loads of friends you've brought along. We're partial to the fish dishes, incuding the drunken squid marinated in vodka, but the special mixed meze seems to be the hands-down winner.

The food was excellent, however the service was a little slow. We were kept waiting outside for 20 minutes after our table was booked for (luckily it wasnt raining). The food however was excellent.
Sofra (St Christopher's Place) offers consistently good food and service, at good prices. I have only tried the wines on the lower end of the price range, but found them pleasant to drink. I particularly like the fact that the Turkish focaccia bread is replenished without having to ask for it, and it is all included in the service charge - nice to see a restaurant that hasn't turned what is really a "cover/service" item into a small money-making exercise.
sOFRA WAS A VERY NICE PLACE, THE SERVICE WAS GOOD AND THE STAFF WERE CHATTY. i LOVED THE FOOD AND FELT IT HAD A GOOD RANGE.
Sofra is one of my fav places for Turkish food. The restaurant in St Christopher's Place takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. Their healthy set menu is well priced, and gives you a good selection of tasty entrees to try, and leaves you full and satisfied!
