review of Old Spitalfields Market

Reviewed by:

No longer under threat from corporate pigs – protesters managed to save a sizeable chunk from development – Spitalfields is the other best market in London. Less swanky than Portobello, it manages to get its prices right and you’re far more likely to pick up a bargain amongst the huge variety of stalls selling everything from organic nuts to rugs. Sunday’s at Spitalfields are an absolute must. Browsing heaven.
