Toptable says about The Queen's Head & Artichoke
Once the beautiful Victorian interiors of this old pub were restored to
their original glory and the first floor dining room opened, along with
outside terrace for dining, the locals must have breathed a sigh of delight
before tucking into some seriously good gastropub grub. Business folk crowd
in at lunchtimes, while friendlier couples and groups pack in evenings and
weekends. There is something here to suit most palates and pockets. The
menu changes daily - another sign that they're serious about food here -
but we recently loved the fish chowder, and the aubergine, potato and
spinach bhaji with yoghurt. The wine list is heaven.

Flash gastronomy for punters that know what they want and how to get it. From cheap tapas to rustic home-style English classics, the portions here are good and wont break the budget you started this afternoon. Definitely worth the trip.

A convenient staple for a lunch meeting away from the office. Continued good service and good food.
queen and artichoke is a lovely place to gather friends and eat tastey food. good value.
Always a great venue to have lunch or dinner. We went for lunch, in the midst of Christmas parties but the food was still pretty good. A lot of choice, and the pata de negra was gorgeous. Bit too much fish and no chicken on the menu so felt slightly imbalanced for our guest, who wasn't that keen on fish!
Would highly recommend the Queens Head & Artichoke, they coped well with Christmas and many covers - extremely professional.
The Queen's Head and Artichoke was packed and buzzy as usual on Sunday. The food was much better than previous visits so hopefully the quality of the roasts is sorted out now. Prices were reasonable at £6 for starters, £12 for roast. The service was (again as usual) lacking - no-one wants to be fawned over but the service at the Artichoke needs stepping up. All in all though one of the best options for Sunday lunch in the Regent's Park area.
