In 1670 the first 100 Greek immigrants arrived on British soil. Who would have thought that over 250 years later more than 150,000 Greek people would have made London their home?

The influence of classical and ancient Greece on London can be felt everywhere. The city’s grandiose architectural projects owe more to classical Greek architecture than to any other building movement. But there is, of course, a far more modern aspect to Greek London than a classical architectural legacy.
