Organic Restaurants in London

Water House

Arthur Potts Dawson, the man behind Acorn House, has opened a second environmentally sustainable restaurant, Water House. The canal-side restaurant uses renewable hydro-electric power, reducing carbon emissions. Roof-top solar panels provide hot water, and the restaurant makes its own filtered water on site. Locally bought food is fully organic and the worms in the wormery will eat up the raw food waste. You can't get much greener than that!

Konstam at the Prince Albert

Housed in a former pub, Konstam at the Prince Albert is the brainchild of Oliver Rowe. Oliver sources all of the restaurant's food locally, within the M25, the motorway that encircles London. Both the venture and the concept were made famous in the TV series "The Urban Chef".

The Duke of Cambridge

The Duke of Cambridge is the world’s first certified organic pub and winner of the Time Out Best Gastropub Award amongst many other accolades. This Islington drinking-hole serves organic wine and ale alongside food sourced from local producers. It also generates its own power and boasts a conservatory made entirely from reclaimed materials.
